Kalavaridhi is a Sanskrit word, meaning Ocean of Art. Art is like the ocean - boundless, mysterious, and intriguing. In art, the journey is itself the destination.

Founding Kalavaridhi Center for Performing Arts LLC (2001) was the natural progression of Sheela Ramanath's artistic journey. 

Students of Kalavaridhi have performed in several prestigious venues. The students have performed numerous fund raiser performances for charitable organizations.

They have won Prizes in several Solo as well as Group Dance Competitions.
