MY GURU

The pedagogy of Guru- Shishya parampara (the bonding between teacher and student) has been deeply rooted in our tradition. Being under the tutelage of Guru Bhanumati has been one of the greatest life changing experiences for me. She instilled the love for dance in me. Her magnetic smile, limitless quest for knowledge and childlike disposition are among the rare qualities we see these days. I am forever indebted to her for giving me the gift of dance!
